The Chickens and the Cats

I can always tell where portions of my dreams come from and the three key portions of this particular dream come from my work, the book I am currently reading and my pet cat Ron.

I like to call this one, "The Chickens and the Cats"

I am in my salon one day when I walk upstairs to the office area of the building and I see these ginormous chickens and roosters filling the top floor. These are no normal chickens and roosters. They are abnormal colors and about 3 feet high. Some of them don't have wings and some of them are kind of faceless. To say the least, they were weird and definitely not from this world. To keep them from taking over the entire salon I try to close some of them in the office, however while I am doing this more of the giants make it down the stairs to the salon level of my store. I know that I absolutely can't let the beasts go down the next flight of stairs....that is where the clients are waiting for their stylists to come and get them. I need a solution! And FAST!

What is the best solution for ridding my salon of these alien poultry!? Why cats of course!! But not just any cats, VERY LARGE ORANGE CATS. (Did I mention that I dream in color?) So my co-workers and I gather about 15 orange cats that seem to be conveniently located just outside the front door of the building, throw them up the stairs into the salon and close the door behind them. After a little time it seemed to work. The chickens and roosters had left the building but the bird and feline battle left one hell of a mess in the salon.

Think the dream is over there? Not quite....I still have strangeness in me. We still need to clean the salon up and rid the building of the many orange cats that we used. However, I know that among those cats is my loved pet Ron. As I mentioned earlier, the only cats that can get rid of giant chickens are Orange cats, therefore all of the cats looked exactly the same, but I need to find Ron. So what do I do? I start picking up the cats and smelling their bums because I know for sure that my cat has the smelliest bum of them all...I woke up before I found him.


(Just as an aside to this dream...my cat doesn't actually have the smelliest bum in the world, but lets just say that you know when he has used his litter. It can definitely clear a room.

Or a whole house.
